Due a main break, customers on the following streets experienced a temporary period of low pressure or no water. With a lack of water pressure, there is a possibility of contamination of drinking water.

- Sawmill Rd, New Fairfield
- Valerie Ln, New Fairfield
In situations like this, the Department of Public Health recommends – as a precaution – that customers boil their water before consuming it or use bottled water until it is confirmed that the water is safe to drink. This precautionary advisory will remain in effect until further notice. After the repairs are complete, water samples will be collected from the affected areas of the Possum Ridge System, with results expected 24 to 48 hours later.
